Gold-filled is where pure gold is combined with copper at high temperatures. It offers a good price and color retention. Although it's not possible for it to never fade, with proper maintenance, it can last for several years. However, if gold-filled jewelry is exposed to soap or shower gel for an extended period, it can accelerate oxidation. Therefore, we do not recommend wearing bracelets/ necklaces with metal components while showering.

1. Avoid letting the chain come into contact with chemicals (such as soap, shower gel, disinfectant, perfume, lotion, etc.)
2. Avoid wearing while showering or swimming. Bathing gel, soap, swimming pool water, and seawater can cause oxidation of the accessories and may also damage the crystals.
3. If you need to clean the accessories, only use clean water. After cleaning, be sure to dry them thoroughly, otherwise, prolonged dampness will accelerate oxidation of the accessories.
4. Regularly use a silver polishing cloth to maintain the accessories.
5. When not wearing, you can store the accessories in a dust-proof box or sealed bag to separate them from contact with air. This can slow down oxidation and prevent dampness.

Demagnetizing crystals with a demagnetizing stone (the most common method): Pour the demagnetizing stone into a jewelry box or glass container, then place the crystal inside for 3-5 hours or overnight to complete the demagnetization.

Demagnetizing with sunlight or moonlight: Choose to expose the crystal to sunlight between 12 PM and 2 PM, for a duration of 1-2 hours; expose the crystal to moonlight can be overnight.

Demagnetizing with mineral water: Soak the crystal in mineral water for 6-8 hours (use brand new mineral water that has not been consumed).

*For crystal bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings, and other jewelry with metal components, use the demagnetization methods described in steps 1 and 2.

*Crystal bracelets, rope bracelets, crystal ornaments, and crystal stones can all be demagnetized using the three methods described above.

It is recommended to demagnetize them twice a month. If you have been to places with high negative energy such as hospitals or graveyards, make sure to demagnetize your crystals when you return home.

Crystals can come into contact with water, but it is not recommended to wear them while taking shower. Our jewelry is made of 14K gold-filled and 925 sterling silver, which do not rust. However, prolonged exposure to chemicals like soap or shower gel can cause oxidation and blackening. All metals in the world undergo oxidation, and although gold-filled materials maintain their color better than gold-plated ones, they will still oxidize over time. If you want a metal that doesn't oxidize at all, only pure gold can achieve that.

Furthermore, prolonged exposure of crystals to the chemical components of shower gel can damage the crystal's structure and energy. If you don't mind these issues, you can wear them while taking shower.

Except for some crystals that are beneficial for sleep, such as Labradorite and Moonstone, it is not recommended to wear other crystals while sleeping. This is because crystals absorb negative energy throughout the day and need to be purified by placing them in a demagnetizing stone. Also, when sleeping, people enter a state of shallow consciousness, and their sensitivity increases. At this time, the energy of the crystal may become too strong, leading to an overstimulation of the nervous system, which can be detrimental to the body.
